Mardi Gras is always such a fun time of the year with all the parades, costumes, theme parties and
masked people celebrating all over the world. Mardi Gras is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana; but people all over the United States celebrate Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is traditinally the celebration before lent, and is celebrated in different ways all over the world. There are Carnivale celebrations in South America and parts of Europe, and in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, they celebrate Fasching. Here are some great definitions from Wikipedia:
